We're getting our Leaf later this week (yeah!).

We drive so little on a daily basis, so I'm not worried about getting along with the trickle charger for the near future. That said, I think I will eventually put in a L2 charger in my garage. Do any Pittsburgh owners have a recommendation on a reasonably-priced, EV-knowledgable electrician?

Welcome!
No need to necessarily get a dedicated 240v outlet installed for 240v charging. Even if you don't have a 240v receptacle available, often you can 'reassemble 240v" from 2 (opposing) legs of 120v. Google 'quick220' for instance:

Once you get 240v from two 120v receptacles, you can have the 120v portable EVSE that comes with the leaf modified so that it will charge from multiple voltages ... 120v ... 208v .... 240v .... mighty slick:

Good luck with your purchase or lease!
