Just finished a Webinar that included some of the folks you mentioned above; its really too bad that IL lost the funds for their EV and EVSE rebates ... I did take a few snapshots though on what BEV and PHEV cars they offered it to as well as some survey stats that would proved interesting to others in the US:

Congressional Transportation Funding Bill
"Green Car Reports" noted that the recently signed federal transportation bill, the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act contained many positives for electric car advocates. It includes the renewal of a home-refueling tax credit that covers electric car charging stations, a provision for installing charging stations at government facilities, and other relevant items.
There was an important provision for hydrogen fuel-cell cars as well, as a tax credit for fuel-cell vehicles was given a short-term extension through the end of 2016.

CNG Now Report

"CNG Now" notes that public transportation across the country has been using CNG for decades. Currently, about 12-15 percent of public transit buses in the U.S. run on natural gas (either CNG or LNG – liquefied natural gas).
That number is growing, with nearly one in five buses on order today slated to run on natural gas. States with the highest consumption of natural gas for transportation are California, New York, Texas, Georgia, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
