From near sea level to near tree level.

We drove from home near Seattle to the DCQC at Campbell-Nelson Nissan, arriving with a 76% and leaving with a 93% charge level.
Waited and waited for a ferry to cross Puget Sound to Kingston, then drove (heavy traffic, so less than speed limit) to Sequim, arriving with 48% and stopping for a charge while we ate dinner. Continued on to a B&B that offers L1 charging, and will soon be offering L2.

Left the next morning from about 30 feet elevation with a full charge for Hurricane Ridge, elevation 5,242 feet and 35 miles away. Arrived with 6 miles on the GOM and 22% on the battery. 35 miles to go, how is that going to work with only 6 miles remaining?

Return trip was 18 miles of descent, gaining charge to 41% and a lot of miles on the GOM, didn't write it down. Finished at the B&B with 21% remaining.

Trip to home was a drive at mostly speed limit to the ferry, then to the DCQC, arriving one mile after low battery alarm, charged to 60% and returned home.

All percentages are on a 2014 SL using the dashboard indicator, not a cellphone app.

So you can conclude your 2014 can make trips your 2012 could not?
