CA rebate vs lease'rs or just buyers?

For Californians: Assuming there is money in the pot, will the $5M be paid to lease owners as well as outright buyers? Or just to buyers?

Getting California rebate on lease? In traditional leasing you are not the owner so the rebate my not apply. What does apply is the cost of lease compared to $32k vehicles. $2k down $350 monthly is very low lease payment. Time will tell. bpeachy

I believe that a pro-rated part of the rebate must be returned if the car is not kept for at least 3 years.

Must be owned by the same owner AND registered in CA for at least the first three years. Unless you can prove an acceptable kind of "financial hardship"
