What color are the rear turn signals? Are they LED? (Wishing for yellow LED!)

FYP. The first "kW' should've been kWh.

Yes, at the bottom, you can build and price + see the packages.

OP, some questions are asked at viewtopic.php?p=504006#p504006, for some reason.

Hoping the folks getting to see the launch/reveal event can find out:

1. Would like to know the trunk space compared to current gen Leaf
2. Will there be a wireless charging pad option ?
3. Battery Warranty specifics for this new model Leaf. (Note: One of the Korean EV manufacturers had a lifetime warranty on the battery- but I could be wrong here....)

4. Will there ever be a self-driving feature software upgrade made available (like the Tesla platform) given that the vehicle have most of the sensors/radar built into it already from the start?

Thanks.

Can we get confirmation about the approx. 60 kWh version time frame?

http://www.greencarreports.com/news/111 ... es-in-2019 says "In 2019, the Leaf range will gain a second battery option, a larger 60-kwh pack, according to Nissan executives during a technical briefing held in Japan in June." We really need to wait until calendar year 2019?

Press releases like http://nissannews.com/en-US/nissan/usa/ ... ican-debut have talked about 2019 model year.

Do all trims at least come w/a standard L1 120 volt EVSE?

There's been chatter about ProPilot Assist only working between 18 and 62 mph? Is this right? Does that mean it won't work or some features won't work above 62 mph?

Do all trims come w/6.6 kW OBC? (I know CHAdeMO isn't standard on the US S trim.)

Per https://www.nissanusa.com/electric-cars ... configure/, SV and SL supports both.

Sounds the same in volume.

http://nissannews.com/en-US/nissan/usa/ ... issan-leaf but maybe shaped better?
What’s more, the rear cargo area has been redesigned to provide increased luggage space, offering 23.6 cubic feet of available stowage. The square space, with bumps removed as much as possible, allows greater space utilization, increasing convenience and usability. The rear cargo space can now accommodate two large suitcases or three medium-sized, airline carry-on suitcases. It also allows for easier charging cable storage.

http://nissannews.com/en-US/nissan/usa/ ... -press-kit under Specs tab says
Cargo volume
2nd row upright 23.6 ft3
2nd row folded 30.0 ft3

I think it fair to guess that model will have a TMS and be the real LEAF2

We are seeing the LEAF 1.33 at the moment

To me it means that Nissan is branching out to more models covering a greater price range. The Leaf+ will probably start around $38K

All Leafs have a 6.6-kW onboard charger that allows charging at Level 2 (J1772) in about eight hours. On the base S, you’ll need a charging package to get two items that are standard on the rest of the lineup: CHAdeMO fast charging and a new Level 1 and Level 2 combination charging cord that will allow the Leaf to be plugged into a 120-volt or 240-volt outlet. With a Level 3 CHAdeMO fast charger, the Leaf can recover 90 miles of range in 30 minutes. Next year’s 60-kW Leaf e+ will be the first CHAdeMO-capable car to offer 100-kW charging in the United States (versus a 50-kW max for the standard car).

Nissan says that the new battery can retain 90 percent of its capacity after 500 charge/discharge cycles (more than 60,000 miles, in practical terms), and the company will continue its current warranty, guaranteeing about 70 percent of original capacity or more for eight years or 100,000 miles.

Nissan has targeted noise levels equivalent to those of a premium sedan; it claims to have lowered them by one decibel at 62 mph compared with the outgoing model.

Infotainment gear includes a 6.0-inch interface for the base S, with others offering or including a 7.0-inch unit with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

I have lots of questions after the 2018 LEAF reveal that didn't give many details.

so 40 kWh battery is availble 1st. But they didn't give a date for the 60 kWh battery.

They didn't say if the warranty was improved or if they added Thermal Control liquid or air or none?

With their E Pedal did they increase the REGEN? Is it adjustable?

How fast can the DC Fast Charging go?

Did the on board charging change from 6 kW?

Will the V2G affect the battery life/ warranty ?

What is the cost of their Pro Pilot?, 60 kWh battery, V2G option and inverter? and many other questions.
