Yes, 15k leases are very common, at least in the US. They do cost a bit more.

What WetEV said. Temperatures above 70-80 F is the major reason for battery degradation, followed by time at high SOC, number of charge-discharge cycles, and calendar time. The higher the temps, the faster the degradation, which is why AZ, TX, HI, and FL Leafs were early indicators. We should know more about the 40KWh batteries after the summer. Bottom line: use and enjoy your EV, but plan on battery degradation.

I just got my 2018 Leaf 2 days ago, how to signup the $0.02 CAD kwh (12AM-6AM) program and get the government rebate? I live in Toronto.

Thank you so much

Its too bad the 80% charging is gone. Would be really interested in seeing side by side of two cars in the Southern tier. One always doing 80% (which is a bit high but close enough) verses one who charges "normally"

Now I have had mine 2 months and 7 weeks of that time was during extreme driving need and I found the range to be sufficient in most cases that it was easy to park the car overnight at 50-70% SOC without range concerns. I did charge to full but most were for range or QC tests with only a handful due to driving need keeping in mind one week I exceeded 200 miles a day 3X.

What is the specification of your spare tire? I am looking for a donut spare tire too just for emergency.. any spec. on the tire code and bolt pattern for reference? That would be really appreciated.

IIRC, it's for a 2006 Altima, but I'd have to verify that. I should note that this spare is larger than is absolutely necessary - it's more like 2/3 or 3/4 size - and you could probably find a smaller donut that would work.

on my 2018 SL the Amplifier in the cargo area prohibits use of a cargo organizer as in the S and SV.

is there an orderable, usable cargo organizer for the 2018 SL that accommodates the amplfier?

Thanks!

Yes, but the reviews of it say it's made from cheap, weak, smelly particle board with even cheaper black 'fuzz' sprayed onto it. There isn't even a real cover hinge.

Thanks, @leftiebiker. That may be acceptable for me as i would cover it with other fabric or material anyway.

My use case is two dogs who need a *flat* surface in the cargo area with the rear seats folded down. Currently they are sliding all over the back with the drop off into the deep Amplifier space.

Thanks!

I'd be very worried about the dogs collapsing the cheap, weak particle board. Someone needs to buy or measure one, and then make a higher quality unit from exterior grade plywood and indoor/outdoor carpeting.
