****New Update - 10/15/2010 - - after much discussion Younkers has agreed to meet the Rairdon price point for my car. I believe they will do this for anyone asking but you may need to show them that you are a member of MyNissanLeaf boards and the post from Greg at Rairdon ***

Experience: I wanted to give Younker Nissan the benefit of the doubt and hoped they would put out a competing offer to the ones I have heard from Auburn Rairdon Nissan. I'd like to see a final price that was provided from them up here but I'd suggest NW folks go there based on what I have heard.

SL-E means you're part of the EVProject and thus forced to get the SL trim with the Quick Charging option though the Quick Charge is included in the price for that trim level, as opposed to the rest of us that have to pony up an extra $700 for it (as apparently you did).

I just looked back through the screen shots of my order and it shows "Nissan LEAF ETEC" as the trim rather than SL-E. Did anyone else in the EV Project see that?
 
Sigh. Yes, LEAF ETEC is the SL-E(tec). Only EV Project people get this "trim level", and it is the only "trim level" that has the L3 port included free.

You will have no problem making it home without recharging if you start with a full charge. According to the latest figures, 60 mph in ECO mode will get you over 100 miles.
