After looking at a 2015 SL with 50,000 miles for $12k I was about to purchase, but decided to take the offer in the hand to the nearby Nissan dealership. They showed me a Certified 2016 S model with 600 miles for $200 more. It was $13,800 out the door.
It is the base model with no Quick Charge. Has 12 bars. I live 60 miles from the dealer so had them charge to 84 miles to be safe. It was mostly freeway miles then a 3,000 foot elevation gain the last half. Twenty miles and 1,000 feet uphill climb from home I chickened out and diverted to parking the car at work. There is a free public Level 2 charging station a mile away. I make it with 11 miles on the GOM. Then charged up after lunch the next day. It took 6 hours to charge.
2016 S bought used in 2017 with 93% SOH 58 Ah 89 Hx for $12,000
Daily commute is 55 miles round trip with a 2,900 foot elevation climb on the way home.
