Does anyone using EVI charger? Can it be used with any EV, such as 2011 Nissan LEAF and 2013 Toyota RAV 4 EV.

I have no direct experience with it but looking at the Amazon page, yes, it should work with any current EV. HOWEVER, it is a level 1 (120V) EVSE, like the Nissan-supplied "cord", not level 2 (240V). Having said that, it is rated for 16 amps instead of 12 and as I understand it, a 2013 Leaf will use the full 16 amps giving a slight faster L1 charge. Earlier Leaf models all limit L1 charging to 12 amps, regardless of the limit imposed by the EVSE.

Bottom line, not worth buying.

Not according to the specs on their website:
EVI's Smart Cord is perfect for Plug-in Hybrids. It is lightweight, great on-the-go, and acts as a perfect back-up charger.

Technical Specifications:

Standard SAE J1772 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Cord
NEMA 5-15 plug, or NEMA 14-50 plug attachment
Portable, Safe, Reliable
16 Amp, 18 foot cord
1 Year Warranty, Indoor Rated
I'd feel much better if they seemed a little more professional (knew how to write unambiguous product descriptions, for one). Still have no idea whether it works well or not. Somebody's going to have to buy one, open it up, and give us a full review.

Not sure what your asking if your from Europe as Europe doesn't use the NEMA 5-15 standard plug but for people in N. America who have a EVSEupgrade'd EVSE with the L6-20 or L6-30 plug, if they are worried about turning this EVSE back in at end of lease, they could simply remove the 240v plug and wire on a commercial quality 5-15 grounded plug, and probably no one would be the wiser(green to green, white to white and black to black(or gold).
Although better yet is to offer to swap that EVSE with someone else without a upgraded EVSE, they'd gain a upgraded EVSE and you'd end up with a EVSE the same as OEM. Lastly, if you had the adapter plug to go to a standard 5-15 outlet you could probably just leave that on and again they'd probably be none the wiser. In fact whenever I look at used Leafs I always look for such a upgraded EVSE as it would be a buying point for me, unfortunately I've never seen one, they are all the OEM EVSE :(

When I turned in my Leaf it had an OpenEVSE in the bag. It had an adapter cable for 120V and a 20A L2 input cable. The dealer only checked that the bag was full. Any EVSE seems to fit the bill.
