You do realize that the steering wheel is on the other side in the UK?
That is not a concern, but he will have to also change the headlight assemblies to get it licensed.

To the OP, it depends on where you are in the US. Google is your friend. A $6,000 Leaf may not be worth the hassle.

i do plan to move it to my home countrie when there is a left hand drive only and leaf cost used 30k euro used so please people give me answer:)

Unfortunately I can't give any specifics, but I do know that one time I was looking at a LEAF on a dealer's lot, and the salesman came out and said it wasn't for sale, it was going from here (Florida) to Norway.

I have since found out that the LEAF is highly sought after in Norway, so maybe if there is a Norwegian LEAF forum somebody there might be able to help?

Also, people in Europe have been importing American muscle cars for many years, so possibly a muscle car forum there in Europe might have somebody able to help?

There are tons of US-spec Leafs here in Norway, but most of them have been imported by companies which specialize in the trade. That said, I think asking your question on an UK-based forum for American cars would be the best way to go. For instance http://www.corvetteclub.org.uk or http://www.mustangforum.uk. Surely someone there must have been through the process of importing a car to the UK from the US and could give you advice.

Maybe the British subsidy for LEAFs is implemented in such a way that only Britons get it, while the US-made ones that exporters are selling to Norwegians have all had 20% of their cost paid by the US taxpayers?

You're welcome.

People i have the cars the problem is how to move them most companies want to charge me around 5000$ for shipping and i find it unreasable,do u think if cars are marked at lower value like 4000$ i will save on fees like vat etc? In my home country?

There's nothing in the UK government website about electric car subsidies that says "only Britons" (as in British citizens) can get them. https://www.gov.uk/plug-in-car-van-grants/what-youll-get If you legally reside there and buy a new plug-in from a UK dealership, AFAIK you're eligible (and they get theirs off the purchase price, unlike our "tax credit of up to $7500").
