New to the board and we've owned our Leaf for 3 years.
Our charger is great:
Bosch EL-51253 Power Max 30 Amp Electric Vehicle Charging Station with 18' Cord
BUT the charger plug was damaged this am. Accidentally yanked out of the Leaf by our other car pulling out of the driveway.
I'm looking for someone in San Diego to replace the cable/plug. Hoping we don't have to replace the whole charging unit.

Any leads/recommendations would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the tip!
I went there personally the other day with pics. The lady at the front desk said to try an electrician and they only do car conversions to EVs :(
I would need to get the part first before I could send it to an electrician.

You can get a great replacement cable from Quick Charge Power or sometimes on eBay. I just purchased a 24 ft SPX 30A cable for $114 shipped. I am in Orange County near Disneyland but if you want to travel I can help.

The J1772 cable usually has 4 wires. A light gauge pilot wire and 3 heavier wires ( 2L's and ground). It is pretty simple to replace it yourself.

If you can bring this by my house in Poway today, I can fix it.

There is no doubt Tony can fix it. He is a long time EV supporter and he along with his brother formed Quick Charge Power. Just do not let his enthusiasm with his own products sell you a complete EVSE. From your description you just need a new cable. The ones Tony's company build are superb.
