Re: 18K for $8500 or 55K for $7500?

Yup, I saw some close to those numbers on some Leafs in the PNW. But never Ahr > 67, nor 100% SOH.

I'm going to be doing the long test drive in about 45 minutes. I won't be able to do the highway for about half of it, so I guess it won't be a perfect test.

Just got in the car. Here's the leafspy readout. Is it normal to lose 3% soh after a BMS readout?

If that's the same Leaf it lost 3% battery and 4 AHr since the last reading, not normal. The more you drive it, the more it will keep dropping. Are you doing a full range test?

Yes. I'm doing it right now. So far not looking too good.

I got it down to 40% soc, after driving for 50 miles, so I went ahead and purchased it. The most recent readout showed 94% soh.

50/.6 = 83 miles estimated range - sounds decent.

Hope it works out well for you, congratulations!

What was the most common speed on that range test? It can't have been fast, because the EPA range rating when new was 83 miles, IIRC.

Pretty sure the EPA range was 75 miles, but based on 90% discharge. So, you're right - 83 miles.

It's 84 miles at 100% charge on a '13:

See https://priuschat.com/threads/car-and-d ... tes.67235/ for pointers to info about the EPA tests. Click thru the tabs at https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/fe_test_schedules.shtml, keeping in mind it's not done on a real road.
