Are these holes in the bottom concerning?

I'm about to make an offer on a used 2013 Leaf SV, but noticed some holes in the front underbody panel that appear to be scraped/torn from driving over something. It's almost as if it's caused the fibrous panel to partially detach from the car. I'm concerned about water and dirt getting in there and possibly swelling the fibrous material. Could this mess with the battery cooling system, or cause moisture corrosion issues with the battery?

Look very carefully at the metal panels under the middle of the car. Be very concerned if there is damage there because the battery is above those metal panels. The fiber panel could be easily rep!aced, but the concern is what caused the damage and is there any hidden damage.
