After reading back 10 pages in that thread it looks like my guess of $5-6k was spot on, about $5500 ($6500 and they give you $1k for your old battery). At that price an '11 no matter how clean isn't worth much more than $2-3k(IMO anyway). Personally, I'd much rather pay $8-10k for a 12 bar '13+ but thats just me :) lots of improvements after '12.

Sorry, I was thinking that the B driving mode incorporated regenerative braking, and I didn't think B mode was an option in 2011. I take it I have all of my terms mixed up?

Several years ago when I tried to buy one of the last RAV4EV' the used car manager refused to tale my Leaf SL. The KBB was far out of actual prices. He said that KBB does not buy cars.

He said the Leaf simply would not sell and it would end up at auction.
2012 Cayenne Red SL traded for:
2013 Pearl White SL Premium
Traded for a Cirrus White 2014 Mercedes B (totaled)
2016 Urano Gray eGolf SEL w/ drive assist
Loved the VW but it sat too low for my old body
Back to a Cirrus White 2017 B250E

B-mode is a new feature that began on model year 2013 SV and SL:

Yes the '11/'12 year models only had the ECO setting, similar to post '12 S models. ECO still gives you more aggressive regen when lifting your foot off the accelerator but not as strong as a Leaf with the B mode. Note, with a non B mode Leaf you can still get stronger regen, you just need to lightly put your foot on the brake pedal, don't push too hard or friction brakes will kick in.
The thing with a degraded battery is it won't have the ability to accept regen very much, you may be lucky to get more than a couple bubbles compared to a better battery, very unfortunate as you probably would really like the regen on a degraded battery with limited range. Expect to replace your brake pads more often on a Leaf with a degraded battery.
