Range of Leaf is fine I hardly drive, live in hot area Las Vegas.
Battery will degrade badly due to the heat. You'd probably want a model year '15 w/the "lizard" pack, which is the best, so far. I've been to Vegas in the summer a few times. It is WAY too hot there.

Don't know what you're talking about. There's no battery lease program in the US.

120 volt, yes. You need to have a dedicated circuit or one that has little or nothing shared with it. Car will pull 12 amps * 120 volts = 1440 watts continually for many hours at a time unattended. Think about running a space heater or hair dryer on full for many hours at at time, unattended.
It is very slow to charge at 120 volts and there are greater charging losses at 120 volts compared to 208 or 240 volts.
There some considerations/things to be careful about when charging at 120 volts, like the below.viewtopic.php?f=27&t=15784&hilit=outlet+fireviewtopic.php?f=6&t=22867&p=474697&hilit=aluminum+wire#p474697viewtopic.php?t=10887

Can you update your location info via your user name in the upper right > User Control Panel > Profile tab? That way, we don't need to ask in future posts/threads or do sleuthing to deduce it. (But yes, we can guess that lv == Las Vegas.)
What are your daily driving needs in terms of miles? How much city vs. highway? Will you have the ability to charge at your work/destinations?
