We have just bought a 2015 Leaf 24kWh with 6.6kW charger, it is an Acenta which is the middle range trim, I know in the US for instance Nissan use different names for trim levels. Charging with the granny cable ATM but plan to get a 32A home charger installed ASAP. We live in the far South West of the UK, the bit that looks like a foot sticking out at the bottom left, just above the 'heel' ;) in a small place called Pool between Redruth and Camborne, in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site: https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1215 We bought a new house in the Heartlands development last December: http://www.hta.co.uk/projects/heartlands/

Hello,

Most of us on this site are in the USA...

I would love to hear how the climate is in the UK regarding the use and sale of EVs? Hope to hear a lot about your experiences over there....

Portwhere? ;) Oh you mean Port Isaac, which is about 25 miles east of us

Doc Martin, innit?

What a tosser he is (allegedly). :D

My wife loves that show. It's on Thursday nights and and it runs over, and over, and over again. And then, when you think it's finally done, and they couldn't possibly show it on more time... they do, from the very first episode! Urgh!

My wife and I, here in the States, love Doc Martin. Usually we have to stream it on Amazon or Netflix. Can't wait for the next season!

I was miles out, it is actually 40 miles to Port Isaac from home:

The round trip would be beyond the range of a Leaf 24kW but there are convenient rapid chargers inbetween:
