All, we are trying to move to the Nissan Leaf (2019) as a commuter car but have a need to put 3 boosters (no back) in the 2nd row. Anyone ever do this successfully? Which make and model of booster? How is the finger/hand clearance for clicking the seatbelts in?

Any ideas or suggestions welcome.
Thanks much

Do you have the car or the booster seats at the moment? If the latter, I'd suggest going to a dealer and doing a test fit.

I did this once with a 2017 Leaf, and the interior dimensions of the 2018-2019s are identical. It was possible, but I would not want to have to do it every day. It was very tight fitting the booster seats in, and I had to dig my hand between them and attach the buckle by feel. They also didn't quite fit three across, and needed to slam the door to squeeze them in (yes, I tested this without the kids first). I was using my two "Graco Affix Backless Booster" and one larger borrowed car seat with a back. The kids were perfectly comfortable, but it was slow getting them in and out.

My son has outgrown his booster seat now, so it is no trouble with three kids now, even with two booster seats.

I have one booster (no back) in my 2019 Leaf S. For some reason it's really hard to take on and off. Maybe it's my brand, but the latch system seems deep in there or something. You should go try at the dealer to see if your boosters come in and out easily. I wouldn't want to take mine off all the time.
