Hey everyone!

I had no idea about the Leaf pre ordering until I saw an article on Engadget yesterday. As of right now, I'm in Chicago, but plan on moving back to Arizona in August. It couldn't be perfect timing because my parents sold my Mitsubishi Mirage (bummer). Hopefully I'm higher up on the public pre ordering list. If not, looks like I'll be biking to work for awhile. ;)
 
You should be able to get a Leaf, but it won't be until December, so rent something or bike it until then. You should also visit the EV Project website and signup, you might get a free charging station.

Yeah I saw that. I have to talk to my parents (yep, movin' back home!) and find out the info such as how much AMPage the breaker has and all that jazz. But I'll be doing that tonight.

Hi, Mixed. I'm in Tucson. Let me know if you're headed this way. There are several forum members in the Phoenix area too. Take a look at the map to see our markers.

If you out here in August, Nissan is suppose to bring some LEAFs around on a tour for test drives for those with reservations. This test drive will be around the time you place your actual order.

Welcome Mixed! I live in the Phoenix area now, about 15 mins. from downtown. :) I used to live near South Mountain in Phoenix.

Richard...I had one dealer tell me they aren't getting ANY LEAFS until Dec. 10, the date we take it home. But a different dealer told me that they will have one in Sept./Oct. to test drive.
