That I also would like to know. Not even Nissan's facebook page will answer.

I think there were 3000 emails registered, and they would expect half to became a registered user to pre-order. In a country with 10M people.
In a small country like ours, it is easy to get a plug to recharge for, lets say, 80% of the people. Our 2 biggest cities are 300Kms apart. 2 fast charge stations will solve it
Portugal is one of Nissan partners for EV and we should have +-300 station until Dec 2010 and 1500 next year. That is why Portugal is one of the first in EU to get Leafs.

I will buy mine even of there are no public stations.
