The article (which could be incorrect) says "All cars". The article states they did a one-day ban of fossil-fueled cars last September. Paris has been removing pavement/banning cars on various roads for a few years now, as they encourage walking/biking/transit (they have one of the larger bike-share and now car-share programs, as well as a smart card that will get you onto any public transit).
