From what I've seen in this forum, I seem to be part of the minority who would seriously consider spending the $6k to replace my Leaf battery once it has degraded to the point of adversely impacting our usage of it. So their argument makes sense. Most would prefer to allocate those funds toward their next new one. And while many of us may whine and ask for it, the true economic demand doesn't support the car companies doing it, especially if doing so impacts new car sales.
