Hi,

I noticed in some of the pictures that the floor in the back is not flat. It still has that hump in the middle like regular cars. I believe the previous generation Civic had a flat floor in the back. Any idea what might be underneath that hump in the Leaf?

It appears that the central tunnel allows for wiring/conduit runs.

The high-voltage and management connections exit the front of the battery box. The disconnect is on top as already noted. The battery box is completely sealed - there aren't any other wire or conduit runs needed for the pack. Maybe the main vehicle body harness runs thru, or maybe the remnant tunnel is somehow structural.
