Assume the Leaf will have low rolling resistance tires. Any idea who is making them? They said 17" rims right? Those are phat for a car that size. I see the Prius V has alloy 17's, maybe they are using the same tire. Anybody know who makes those?

Nissan usually uses Bridgestone (Firestone) in the US. Not sure about the Japanese sourcing, most likely the same.

You can even see the bridstone tires in the pictures:

Note that the rims and tires are perfectly aligned for the picture talk about eye for detail.

I saw 16" wheels, where did you see 17"?
wheels and tires
? 16” alloy wheels
? P205/55R16 tires
? tire repair kit
from their spec sheet here: http://www.nissanusa.com/ev/media/pdf/specs/FeaturesAndSpecs.pdf

You're right, 16's, my bad.

Still some nice looking rimz. I'm surprised they are putting those on the base model, that's typically a differentiator. One concern I have about ordering the base model is that there will be other differences not listed, like nicer upholstery on the SL or maybe the mirrors aren't body color on the SV.

So are those LRR's ? Also on another thread the question of spare tires has come up. Is there such a thing as LRR run flats?
