My 2016 with 17" alloys came with a can of fix-a-flat and a weenie air compressor instead of a spare / jack combo. I can't live like that. I've read you can use a compact spare & jack / tools from an earlier Leaf or a 2002-2006 Altima.
Has anyone mounted the Jack successfully in the side compartment? I think the jack should expand into place to hold it there but newer cars may be missing that upper flange that would hold the lifting pad of the jack.
Any 2011/2012 folks care to post a picture of their spare / jack in situ?
I'm not going overboard and mounting a spare underneath, but I'd like to be able to choose where to buy my first tire instead of getting towed to the dealer only via roadside assistance.
