I had I think 2 cells replaced, I'd have to look back through my prior posts for the details on what they did.

I had a problem where my charge level reported by the car would suddenly drop from 90+% to VLBW and the car would go into turtle mode. Plug it in and it would very quickly pop back up to the original charge level. Took to dealer and their diagnostics didn't find anything. They said I must have charge it on an improper line. Happened a couple times. Finally managed to record video of the dash as it happened. Once I showed them the video proof, they agreed there was a problem. After having it a couple weeks, they diagnosed a couple cells and connectors were bad and replaced them. Took a long time but it has been perfect ever since.

Found my earlier post with the details of what happened and what the fix was:

viewtopic.php?f=30&t=16082&hilit=turtle+mode&start=10

That was over 3 years ago and no problems since, so I think I can reasonably conclude they finally diagnosed and fixed the issue.
