What is the dependence of the "drop-out" of the rods of the battery capacity from its SOH? For example, at which SOH will the 12th stick of battery capacity go off? The 11th ... the 10th, and so on. Can eat which dependency table?

If I recall properly (this is well documented on the site somewhere), the first bar drops at 85% SOH, 15% loss, and the other bars each drop with an additional 6.25% loss. So, you have to get below about 66% SOH before you lose the 9th bar and get a new battery.

No.

There was this table from the '11 service manual: http://www.electricvehiclewiki.com/Batt ... y_Behavior. It is NOT in the '12 nor '13 service manual.

Nissan has AFAIK never acknowledged nor released any public documentation on any of the values that Leaf Spy renders. I've commented about this before at viewtopic.php?p=510059#p510059.

My 5 year battery warranty is up today. No 4th bar drop....too bad Nissan didn't extend their "goodwill" program to the 2013 models or later. I guess I will just need to live with the limited range. Good luck to all the other Leaf owners out there who decided to purchase instead of lease. Dwindling battery range will be a challenge but I can make it work.

Watch my fourth bar drop this month...

Nissan consumer affairs called me regarding the email I sent. Basically no help... The only suggestion the lady has was to go to a Nissan dealership and see what their financing department can offer for a new battery.

Spending $5k on a new battery for 30% more capacity seems a bit silly.

I will just hang onto the Leaf as it is. Limited range but charging at work and home will be fine for now.

Good luck to all you other Leafers out there. Doubtful any other owners will get assistance from Nissan going forward on their "goodwill program". Treating the 2011 and 2012 owners with respect and offering to pay for a new battery with 10%-20% out of pocket for early adopters was great for those who took the offer. 2013 owners don't receive anything other than a suggestion to get a new battery financed...

Thanks again Nissan for the dedication to your customers.

I am in line for a Sondors. I hope the Sondors enters into production and isn't in limbo like the Elio...

Hey everyone, I lost my 9th bar back in Aug 31th, 2017 @ 29,157 miles and just wanted to post the stats.

2013 Leaf S
Manufacture Date: 3-2013
Service Date: 4-2013
My Location: Southern California

Stats for 8-31-2017 when 9th bar was lost (There was a heat wave at this time, highs of 100+ for a few days. Was getting about 45-49 miles on a full charge @ 4.5miles/kW):
41.03 AHr
62% SOH
56.05% Hx
979 L1/L2
Temp 96.6
Odo 29,157

Stats as of today 3-4-2018 (Currently at 7 bars, not sure when the 8th bar dropped, maybe late Feb. Currently gets 35-39 miles on a full charge @ 4.5miles/kW):
39.79 AHr
60.84SOH
52.90% Hx
1247 L1/L2
Temp 52.5
Odo 34,769

I didn't get the battery replaced yet but plan do so in about 2 weeks.

Good that you made it before capacity warranty expiration. The correct units for "4.5miles/kW" are miles/kWh. The instrumentation in the car uses the correct units.

Nissan starts exchange program in Japan. At 300,000 yen ($2,853), this might be a good deal for the older Nissan Leaf owners.
