I have a 2015 S with QC and, with a bit more than 1 year left on my 3 year lease, have been trying to determine if the "lizard" battery is truly any better than previous batteries. Your data would seem to suggest it is, as my car with almost 20k miles on it is stilll showing 96% SOH and 275 - 280 Gids (my last 2 readings). Just one data point but it is one more that seems to indicate the 2015 battery will last a bit longer than previous model years. This is an important factor for me in determining whether I buy it at the end of the lease or turn it in. Of course price is the other one, so we'll have to see what NMAC offers next year. Thanks again!
You're welcome! I was kind of curious about the impact of having the car sit at the dealer for a year here also. I have a coworker with a 2013 model SL with the following stats:
AHr 55.54 , SOH = 84% 394.57 V Hx 82.31% 29,845 miles. He bought his used last year.
This coworker recently lost his first capacity bar. I don't have the LeafSpy data handy but I will ask him for it.
edited to add ...
I received a little info from him.
