I have a 2015 S with QC and, with a bit more than 1 year left on my 3 year lease, have been trying to determine if the "lizard" battery is truly any better than previous batteries. Your data would seem to suggest it is, as my car with almost 20k miles on it is stilll showing 96% SOH and 275 - 280 Gids (my last 2 readings). Just one data point but it is one more that seems to indicate the 2015 battery will last a bit longer than previous model years. This is an important factor for me in determining whether I buy it at the end of the lease or turn it in. Of course price is the other one, so we'll have to see what NMAC offers next year. Thanks again!

You're welcome! I was kind of curious about the impact of having the car sit at the dealer for a year here also. I have a coworker with a 2013 model SL with the following stats:

AHr 55.54 , SOH = 84% 394.57 V Hx 82.31% 29,845 miles. He bought his used last year.

This coworker recently lost his first capacity bar. I don't have the LeafSpy data handy but I will ask him for it.

edited to add ...
I received a little info from him.
Odometer=31,657 AHr- 55.54 SOH=84% 365.43 V Hx=82.25% 16QCs and 1,721 L1/L2s December 1, 2016

It is interesting that in the first year before I bought it, my car went from 100% SOH to 87% and has held steady in that range for the last 2 years. It sat at the dealer (or someplace) for about a year before I bought it.

Here is approximately 1 year:
Odometer 8,176 miles AHr=57.47, SOH=87%, Hx=86.53% 388.44V 9/28/2015
Odometer 20,213 AHr 58.27 SOH= 89% Hx=88.25% 395.37V 14QCs and 822 L1/L2 252 gids 9/4/2016

Not my car. Just found one for sale near me (mild climate). Was bought to be a taxi, now retired.
Awesome interior (most likely custom order from factory?)
End of 2013 - most likely same as 2014, has heat pump, LED, leather, rear camera, folding mirrors,
http://eng.auto24.ee/used/2403451?id=2403451
224 572 km mileage (140 k miles). Battery SOH 77%, most charging done on DC.
1200 days old. So on average 187km per day (116mi per day).

Great data. My car will be 8 years old when it will have steering wheel leather look like glass
My car has 1/3 of that mileage, but not 23% lost capacity, rather 5%. So QC often will add about
a third to capacity loss if done many times per day every day for years.
Short range EVs <30kWh -- Medium range: 30-60kWh -- Long range: >60kWh
Charging: Trickle <3kW -- Normal 3-22kW -- Fast 50-100kW -- Supercharging >100kW

These are the statistics after almost 2 years of ownership and an additional year of sitting in the dealer's lot. My car has a January 2014 manufacture date and I bought it in February 2015.

February 15, 2017 AHr=58.65 SOH=89% 381.57V Hx=89.22% odometer=26,917 14QCs & 1,023 L1/L2s

I've got a '14 with very similar battery stats (88% SOH with 21000 miles, 10/14 manufacture date). I find it very interesting that your battery has stayed so consistent over time, and seemed to have improved after having sat for a year unused. Thanks for the updates.

you're welcome! I'm a little surprised also, but pleased at the same time.
