Sorry, but no. Read the thread again. Jjeff mentioned the 8 year warranty against failure, the OP asked what constituted "failure," and you replied incorrectly.
2013 "Brilliant Silver" SV with Premium Package and no QC, and 2009 Vectrix VX-1 with 18 Leaf cells.

The most offensive, tasteless phrase in use here is "Pulled the trigger." I no longer respond to posts that use it.

Of note, I paid $6,000 for my 2012 Leaf SL with 24,000 miles and 10 bars (It's just on the verge of dropping to 9 bars as it is at 73% SOH) and my 5 year warranty is valid through October 2017. So, $6k is a good price, but not for a car with 8 bars and no warranty. $4500 tops in my opinion, but only if you can get value out of it if it had 6 bars.
