Hi all,

I have a 2014 leaf S (w/ quick charge) and I use Leaf spy pro for monitoring. Pro is def worth buying, btw. Lots of neat stuff in there.

I did an hours worth of L2 charging during lunch today.

Leaf Spy reported 3.8kWh at start of charge (11:32). After an hour (12:32) it reported 11.5 kWh.

Leafspy was showing that I was getting about 5.5kW of power into the battery pretty steady that whole time. So theoretically, I should have added 5.5kWh of energy. Yet Leaf Spy reported a gain of 7.7kWh.

Anyone know why Leafspy is reporting that I gained more than is possible?

thanks!

I wouldn't bother w/the kWh number reported by Leaf Spy.

See http://mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=537453#p537453 and the posts I pointed to. It's just derived from gids multiplied by 77.5 watt-hours/gid. That constant can be changed by the user in settings.

cwerdna,

Thanks very much for the reply and info. While disappointing, its good to know. I'll be more skeptical about the data in there.
