I appears that in March 2012 we will be able to order LEAF in OK. I have very positive experience dealing with Bankston Nissan, Lewisville, TX. Paul Francis is a GM there, is very knowledgeable concerning ordering process and can provide a lot of information that can benefit future LEAF owners.
Tom McAndrew is a local Leaf specialist at Bob Howard Nissan and ready to help.

Edit - At least 4 happy owners already. Hopefully soon will be much more.

After test drive, I have another sure LEAF buyer. Seeing Is Believing. So bad that closest location to buy is Dallas - 250 miles away. We may go there together.

Welcome to the serious minority in Oklahoma. Glad you were finally able to get one.

And yes, let them drive and they will find a way to buy it. We had ours picked out days after the first Oklahoma owner took us for a ride in his Leaf.

We've past 5,000 miles already, and still climbing!

After long discussion with OTC tax adviser concerning 2011 Form 567A Part 2 - Public Access Recharging System for Vehicles Propelled by Electricity. I was advised to write letter to Tax Clarification Department. Will update once I know the outcome.

First public charging station in OK, but is not Nissan dealer, is an organic food store - Whole Foods. There is no marking that is reserved for EV, but people happy to move out to let you charge. Hope soon Nissan dealers will have their installed.

Update I just received letter from OCT acknowledging that they received my letter, so who know how long will take to get final response. Still small chance for state EVSE credit?

No email, just account status different this morning
it's time to determine how you will purchase your Nissan LEAF™. you'll work with your with your preferred Nissan dealer, who will take you through that process by providing you payment figures†. then you'll confirm and submit your vehicle order.

We just learned today that our new Leaf should be here by June 8th. We're so excited. We live in Edmond. How many Leaf owners are there in Oklahoma? Does anyone know? :D

Congrats, that is great. I am in frequent communication with two future Leaf owners in OKC area. Are you buying or leasing?

Wow, Oklahomans just aren't too hip on the ev revolution. I'm here, holding up the Tulsa area. I have yet to see one in Tulsa, besides the dealership.
