Thanks Knightmb for the pics! I'm not sure anyone would notice quickly that it is electric since it doesn't have markings. Does this suggest it is a prototype used for testing? In other words Nissan wants to be discrete about it?

I saw one today at Nissan HQ. Has anyone posted pictures of it in the wild (not airbrushed from a marketing) ?
Take a pic please. :)
This is the best I could do quickly. The quick charge stations are a separate lot adjacent to where the NV200 was. That lot was kind of a restricted area, so I made quick turn around in the restricted lot and took a few shots with the phone. They aren't the best quality, but you get a few difference angles. I didn't want to have security chasing me out if I just parked, got out of vehicle and starting taking a lot of pictures of it.

This is just a regular NV200 compact cargo van.

Ah well  I see that now. I was wondering where the heck you plug in for charging because the front didn't have the outline for the door that hides the charger ports. When I saw it at Nissan, I couldn't see an exhaust pipe or gas door anywhere, so I figured it was the electric. :(

They will have 30kwh on 2016 LEAF, why can't they put it on the e-NV200 and sell to us?
Many of us are hoping they do and soon. For U.S. market current spec e-nv200 of around 72 mile range and 75 mile top speed, probably won't be a big seller. The bigger battery pack will help with the range. For the top speed issue perhaps making it 4 wheel drive will resolve the issue. One axle has different gear ratio then the other. One for high torque (current config) and the other maximized for freeway driving.

I am pretty sure that is exactly what they plann to do. the infiniti LE was delayed as well and the official reason was so the company could "focus" on other things but in reality I believe it was "cause the batteries are not ready for an upscale vehicle" but I think now they are so plan to see both the LE, NV 200 and "something else by MY 2017 and guessing pack sizes will start at 30 kwh

Anyone is testing those e-NV200 now? Who knows what is happening? At first they said the testing last around 1 year. but now already 19 months already still no news whether they will bring it here or not.

I would love to have a little electric van like that :). I could possibly settle for a large SUV (Nissan Armada? Nissan Pathfinder?), but I just don't see any electric SUV from Nissan just yet :(.

Just stumbled across https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xZR4dQshK4 from April 2015 re: EV taxis in Amsterdam.

They mentioned over 170 Leafs and e-NV200 taxis...

Nissan confirms next-gen Leaf will have over 200-mile range

Any chances that they will put this battery on e-NV200s and sell to us?
I sure hope so! I've been waiting for a e-NV200 since I saw the ICE version but so far nothing, not by any mfg. unless you consider the defunct very expensive Ford Transit Connect.
A e-NV200 with a 60Kwh pack, I'd be more than happy with a 150 mile range, even a solid 100 and I'd bite.....well that is unless its priced like the Transit was($50K+). As I've said many times before, I like my little Leaf but really really need more cargo room and wouldn't mine more rear seat room either, lets keep our fingers crossed. The Outlander seems to have been stalled again :? and I'd just as soon not purchase a Chrysler(Pacifica) no I'd really prefer an all electric vehicle and forgo all the issues with an ICE.

Lose the barista-quality coffee machine, add a ~10 kW range-extending generator...
