I calculate I will hit the magic four bars missing about 3-4 months before my 4 year lease is up. So, yes, I expect to do so.

Anyone going to tough it out, drag it out and get the replacement very near warranty expiration?
At the very least I would prefer to have the new "hot" battery due out next year.

I will probably miss the extended warranty by a few months but am still planning to stick it out to the bitter end. I bought mine and opted out of the class action. Hopefully it won't come to more legal wrangling but it has to, so be it.

So this is the infamous battery price Nissan refused to reveal?

At this sale price I'd imagine Steve Marsh would be interested.

For a 2011 it's even cheaper... Seems too good to be true. It is less than 90$ / KWH, for 2013 it does not makes sens.

that price is not doable; when you initiate buying, it puts it in the cart at $4326.
i dont have an account, so i couldnt carry it through.

he has a 2011 which is listed at $1900 which if true, is a great deal. that is just over half of the gas savings I have had which makes it a fair deal since BEVs still require "some compromise" with range limitations

its actually $1976.71 for ground shipping or $2405.35 for next day air. should I order one and post pix tomorrow?

jk! 74 more days and I will have a new battery anyway!

the charger is $1400 the inverter 3 Grand, I mean maybe we were worried about the wrong price here

$393.93 for battery heater relay??

I'm not optimistic this is the right part - I checked with Eastside Nissan and they say that part number is the traction motor. When you use search for the traction motor on the Nissanpartdiscounts.com website the traction motor is listed at the same price and part number. So something is amiss.

ya, probably a website error but part #s are different

ok never mind. same part number and both links go to same picture of battery. interesting no picture of motor (at least not found yet)

We have an imported LEAF 2011

Does anyone know if there is a way to check the software level to know if this Software update has been installed on out Leaf or not ?

anyone want to join me in a Class action suit vs Nissan???
Uhh, the Klee class action suit (http://classaction.kccllc.net/CaseInfo.aspx?pas=NNK) is part of what prompted this.

If you're in the US and (I'm not a lawyer) but unless you opted out so that you could pursue your own legal action, I highly doubt you could file one on this subject: http://classaction.kccllc.net/content.aspx?c=5620&sh=1#q7

Is this a real letter? South Nissan of Austin has never heard of a software enhancement for nissan leafs. They want to charge me for this.
please anyone verify.
