I'm not sure how many things you need to swap but the inlets on the 2011-12 cars were not rated for 6kw charging, the newer models may be different. Besides that you may have a huge project on your hands.

It sounds like he may have all of the wiring (including charging ports) from the donor car. Those would be rated for 6kw / DC Fast. Doing a direct swap out of those would also prevent having to take apart the PDU - at the cost of having to remove the existing wiring and hook up the new wiring (including to the main battery).

The other thing you'd probably need would be the actual charging port plastic cover with both holes cut out. The donor car might have this too but if not it is about 100$ brand new.

NOTE if you want to take apart the PDU here is a much easier way to do it than what the Nissan Manual says:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KO_bNsozcc8

When using this method to open the PDU, you could use the Hillman M6-1.00 x 35 mm bolts from Lowes. They have the correct thread and length to help you pop the seal. Put 2 in at a time (there are 4 locations that work) to crack one side. Then use a pry bar to hold that open while you move them to the other side to pop it open.

When installing or removing the cover, take care not to hit the circuit board as indicated in the Nissan service manual.

Also, when re-assembling the PDU for use don't forget to remove the old gasket with plastic tools (you need to avoid metal shavings). Plastic razor blades might work.

Finally you will need to apply a new bead of the 1217H Liquid Gasket from Nissan.

Draft parts list of what is different on the QC vs non QC for the 2015 S Base trim:

65730-3NF0D Compartment, CHARGING PORT, 2013-15, w/o Premium pkg, w/quick charge

296B1-3NF1A PORT UNIT-BATTERY CHARGE

292C0-3NF3D POWER DELIVERY -
NOTE Superseded To: 292C0-3NF3E so either *might* work.

24011-3NF1B Wire harness, EGI w/quick charge, S

240123NH1D Wire harness, front compartment, w/quick charge, S

I have the complete assembly from battery to charging dock all pre wired to the PDC like a spinal cord, this will make the swap easy since I will not have to open the PDC to undo/redo cable connections. plug n play.... the swap looks real straight forward, just need the time to get to it...

So I attempted this swap, and it is a good upgrade to a 6.6kw L2 charger, but the chademo on a S trim is persnickety as Nissan failed to include the needed logic connectors in the wiring harness to actuate the chademo port protocols.
