Holy cow. Yes, that was an outstanding deal. I tried to see if local dealers could manage something like that on a new one around here but they couldn't. Best price I could get would have been 20k.

Happy to see a few former TDi owners. I'm in the paperwork process for the buyback of my 2013 Jetta TDi wagon.

After dealer charges, TT&L, rebates, approx: $14500

So far so good, 1200 miles. Just finished installation of my Siemens Versicharge. I really like 6.6 kW charging.

WOW!! Was that $180/mth with or without taxes and fees?

Both the $2400 down and the $180 payment are final totals, all costs included.

I was inspired by ev-vin.blogspot.com's lease deal reports to propose an agressive deal and was pleasantly surprised to find a taker (more or less.)

My plug-in prius lease (returned in January) was about 80 more per month, and the leaf should save another 50/month on gas.

Purchased 2017 SV Pearl Blue / Black with 4 options (floor & cargo mats, splash guard, protective cover, cargo net) in mid Hudson valley NY

NY State Rebate = $1,700

LEASED a new SV on Friday (3/24/17), 12,000 miles per year, as follows:

  • $2800 down (drive-off, all included, no surprises)
  • $140/month (=$129+8.25% tax) * 35 months
  • $10,5xx residual from 0.3 * MSRP of $35,xxx
  • Non-VPP; no floor mats or cargo cover (=$400-500!)

Asked my local dealer if they could beat Boardwalk in RWC's best offer.
Boardwalk is one of the biggest LEAF dealers in the country (by # sold).

(Quite happy with the result.)

Awesome deal!! Do you mind sharing or sending me the name of the dealership you got it from?

Leased a new 2017 Leaf S today from Premier Nissan in San Jose, CA.

2 years, 12k miles per year

$2000 drive off
$89/month (includes tax)

VPP and Nissan Loyalty (previously leased a Leaf).

After looking at a 2015 SL with 50,000 miles for $12k I was about to purchase, but decided to take the offer in the hand to the nearby Nissan dealership. They showed me a Certified 2016 S model with 600 miles for $200 more. It was $13,800 out the door.
It is the base model with no Quick Charge. Has 12 bars. I live 60 miles from the dealer so had them charge to 84 miles to be safe. It was mostly freeway miles then a 3,000 foot elevation gain the last half. Twenty miles and 1,000 feet uphill climb from home I chickened out and diverted to parking the car at work. There is a free public Level 2 charging station a mile away. I make it with 11 miles on the GOM. Then charged up after lunch the next day. It took 6 hours to charge.

Southern California
Nissan Leaf S White w/Quick Charge
MSRP $34,554 (i think)
-$10,706 in rebates and discount
Out the door $26,090
-$7500 Fed tax credit
-$2500 State rebate
in the end final price $16,090
Then qualified for 0% APR, so didnt need to put a down payment.

Enjoying the Leaf so far.

This may be "mother of all deals". WOW!! You practically stole that car (for 24 months). Congratulations!!

I thought I was signing a new phone... couldn't be happier. I was considering getting a SUV after the lease end, but this is too good to miss.

Denver Colorado

Traded my 2016 Red Leaf SV for a 2017 Silver Leaf SV w/Premium Package.

If one includes the Federal Tax Credit, I will, on paper, net $541 on the deal. Which will pay for tinting and racing stripes.

I did give up the zero percent financing that came with the 2016.

The dealership mentioned that doing this was not uncommon.

Crazy.

Code:
MSRP + Delivery $37,374
Dealer Discount -$2,500
Taxes $1,585
Colorado TC -$5,000
Xcel/Nissan Rebate -$10,000
Total OTD (w/o Trade) $21,459
TradeIn -$14,500
Total OTD (w Trade) $6,959

Great deal specially when you factor in the rebates ($2500 + $500).
