So the 30 kWh leaf and its price isn't budging from $17k out the door ( has 188 miles on the odometer). The 24 kWh car I can get for 14.9K out the door (has 126 miles) but I am still waiting for the dealership to get me photos of the charge port and the underhood area so I can determine if it has the quick charge port. Both cars are 2016 S's.

You shouldn't need to wait for the dealer, if you use the "original sticker" trick:

Just modify the URL for the correct VIN. If it has the charge package, the original sticker will list that

Sweet it has what I desire. A quick charge port and cargo cover.

That's a cool trick!

Yeah, super handy when you're shopping for a used Leaf as too many dealers haven't a clue when taking photos of a Leaf RE what's important to an informed buyer.

Kudos to a @mrggg for this discovery:

So I got the dealer to finally budge and get my the same price my friend got for his leaf with the same miles. So a 2016 with less than 200 miles with Nissan's Certified pre owned warranty or whatever it's called.

Fancy meeting you here! We just bought a new Leaf yesterday to replace the Honda Pilot. I'm a veteran EVer with the Tesla so feel free to ping me with any questions. And if you didn't buy that car then I can check out any that are for sale in the Tampa area if you want. Crown currently has a red 2016 SV for sale.

(I sold TheDon his euro Mercedes with manual everything)

I'm in Central Florida too! And I mean right in the central part, Bartow Florida.

I can tell anybody thinking about the lower L2 charging, that is the one thing I hate about my 2011 model, it is only 3.7kw. I am thinking it has cost me a fair amount, from missed L2 charging in public that is free, and additional electricity consumed at home due to the overhead consumption of the LEAF while charging. I have also used the QC about 70 times, many times that has been the difference between being able to use the LEAF for the trip or having to take an ICE vehicle.
