This is an old thread, but there is a simple way to screen for battery resets:

1. Reset the trip miles/kWh counter
2. Note the battery SoC
3. Go for a drive of at least 10 miles but preferably 20+ miles
4. Note end SoC

Usable capacity is calculated in kWh as
(3/1) / (2-4)

This is not exact because the SoC counter is presumably not linear but it is good enough to find a battery reset. Anything below 18 kWh would be very concerning and a calculated value below 16-17 kWh is a sure bet if the battery read-out from LeafSpy shows anything over 20 kWh
