That's one awesome deal for a 2017.
Agree, great deal! Too bad that the same vehicle in my state(which also has Xcel but no $10k rebate) would have been MORE than double the end pricejadman said:Denver, Colorado
2017 Nissan Leaf SV Pearl White with Quick Charge, Splash Guards, All weather mats, trunk organizer, Destination charge

Colorado Xcel Energy Rebate = -$10,000
Colorado State Tax Credit = -$5000
Dealer Discount = $3,500 Negotiated dealer down from MSRP
Federal Tax Credit = -$7.500
Net Cost = $10,080 Plus TTL For a brand new 2017 Leaf
I couldn't let this go, the car is in my garage.
For those living in Colorado you can get the Xcel Energy Rebate until June 30, 2017 and must be an Xcel Customer

Colorado is very EV friendly at least for now. The Republicans in the state legislator are trying to kill any state EV incentives.

Hey Jadman - I'm in the market in CO as well. Can you tell me what dealer you bought the car from? Thanks

I wish NC had a state rebate but I still think it's a good deal. I loved the 2014 SV I leased so I expect to be happy with this one. I tried to get an SV without the premium package but there are none left within 500 miles of Raleigh, with light grey interior. For me, the interior color was more important than exterior. Looking at the sticker from 2014 vs 2017, the premium package (Bose sound system & surround cameras) increased by about $500. It was $1,570 on the 2017. It doesn't sound $500 better than the old car, but it sounds good.

Traded my 2016 Red Leaf SV for a 2017 Silver Leaf SV w/Premium Package.
If one includes the Federal Tax Credit, I will, on paper, net $541 on the deal. Which will pay for tinting and racing stripes.
I did give up the zero percent financing that came with the 2016.
The dealership mentioned that doing this was not uncommon.
Crazy.

Tracking said:How much would you expect a dealer to discount a leftover, fully-loaded 2016 SL? Mine offered to discount it $10,000 from MSRP but I think the discount should be substantially more. Note: This is completely independent of any state/federal/utility credits. Thanks for your input.
Correct no money was put down towards the lease.LeftieBiker said:So you paid tax and fees but no down payment?
