That would mean that all of them were delayed since the Dealer has 12 on order and none have arrived. Same with all dealers in the region.

HOPEFULLY that isn't a QC issue, then!

Sadly, What you are guessing is the most plausible answer to why there are no deliveries on the dates that were supposed to have occurred per the dealer system.

11 2018 LEAFs shown in inventory within 500 miles of me, all at Sacramento:

I have no idea if they are really there, or not.

My local dealer said yesterday that they were just beginning to show up on his screen.

I believe no new car an be sold without an EPA (Monroney) sticker, which apparently is not yet available for the 2018 LEAF.

Could be the Government shutdown Screwed with Nissan's schedule for a just-in-time-announcement of the 2018 LEAF's range and efficiency, as well as the intro.

Referring yet again to the Bolt rollout: the cars were showing up in dealer stock listings as soon as a privately ordered car went into transit. There were no actual cars there, just pre-orders being shipped.

Found here: https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/Find.do?action=sbs&id=39860

A side by side comparison from that site shows the 2017 and 2018 EPA range as identical:

Somebody just copied and pasted between model years I think...

Now it’s going to be 4-8 weeks from now. That’s a huge ****up from 1/20. For a car ordered in Sept. Whatever the delays are, the whole process is completely disfunctional.

You should have been around in 2011 with the line jumpers caused by a glitch in Nissan's ability to sort numbers properly.

Silly me for turning in my eGolf instead of extending the lease because I was foolish enough to believe that they would deliver in January as told.

Had I dug deeper and understood Nissans track record of botching deliveries, I would have extended.

This is just Nissan's attempt to imitate the Tesla Model 3. :)

When I look at that URL (as of 2018-01-31 18:33 CST), it shows the 2017 and 2018 LEAF both have 112 MPGe, but the 2017 range is listed as "107 miles Total Range" and the 2018 as "151 miles Total Range". Was "107" or "151" used for both in an earlier version of that web page?

I have a Model 3 reservation for the wife which fortunately has no urgency for us to get. However I do check over there in their forum every so often and it always seems like everyone is in one of the five stages of grief. While it's dysfunctional here, it's complete purgatory there.

Should my 3 reservation come up earlier, I plan to slip it to 2019 so that is fine with me...

Reportedly, 150 LEAFs were delivered in January, not clear if any '17 MYs included in that total...

I find this assessment of interest,

"Fast forward to today, when the LEAF was supposed to have been rolling off of lots last month, and that’s not quite how it worked out. Cars didn’t begin arriving until recently in small numbers and they were pegged for reservation holders. Nissan told us it could be mid-February before another shipment of LEAFs become available at dealers for new buyers."

Take this with only some weight because the same sight had claimed in November that their sources said that they started production in NA, when the real start date was the first week of Dec.

Ray @ Everett Nissan reports that earliest 2018's in WA State expected Feb 12th. So this all but confirms ZERO 2018's sold in Jan
