@SeasonsAfter As I'm from Vancouver, Canada I can't resist a plug for a three wheeled EV that's made in BC:

Nice looking 3 wheeler! I have made my reservation for the Sondors. Who knows if these companies will make it to production; cross your fingers...

I am sure there will be lots of competition in this market going forward. I will hang onto my 2013 Nissan for as long as possible. Love the Leaf, no real issues since I purchased used a few years ago. I figure in another year or so the replacement batteries will be much more affordable. It isn't like everyone out there needs 250 miles of range a day...

Petrol is so 80s...ha

It looks like the Nissan 30 kwh battery packs are degrading faster than the 24 kwh packs. Nissan will need to work out the kinks in their engineering....

Check out the comments at the end this article. Good information from other Leaf owners. I am glad my old 24 kwh pack isn't degrading as much as the newer packs...

Agreed, my replacement battery is about two years old. When I first picked up I had 12 bars, and 106 on the GOM.
after six months, I still had 12 bars an the GOM, had 108.
Today, I still have 12 bars, but the GOM says 85.
No changes in driving habits or charging methods.
After that article came out, I'm more worried now.

So true. the GOM gets it's data from the my personal driving history. I was just getting worried that the article was implying that the latest software was not going to show a decrease in capacity even there was a drop.
Easy to start fake news. but I didn't see anyone denying or confirming this. Just putting it out there to see if anyone could confirm or deny this article.
As far, I've only had one confirmation regarding this. There were so many response against the article. I treating it as fake news. But I will still keep my ears open if there are anymore replys.

Over the weekend I noticed my 4th bar drop. I needed that to happen three months ago! I will send the numbers once I plug the Leaf Spy in if that helps any of the members.

Good luck all that are close to the 4th bar drop before the warranty period expires.

I wonder if calling Nissan customer service will do any good as the warranty period is up in my case. I bet they just laugh in my face...

Here's an update to my previous post which was way back in Mar 2018:

Just lost the 1st bar earlier this month Jan 2022, currently showing 11 bars. (Battery was warrantied/replaced in Mar 2018)
And the stats from Leaf Spy Lite as of last week:
81.66% SOH
71.41% Hx
2042 L1/L2s
Temp 59.0 F
Odo: 59,369
