I am trying to get some correct AC compressor oil for my leaf. It has either a leaking o-ring or a busted high pressure pipe. New O-rings either way and I would like to use the correct oil lubricant. The Nissan repair manual calls it AE10. I have talked to two dealers and they are not sure they can get it. If they replace a compressor, it comes prefilled.

I found some possible alternatives online:

These seem like they might be correct but its hard to tell (they are for electric compressors which is good I suppose)

Anyone know for sure?

Thanks!

Based on more research, I believe my 2014 Leaf uses ND-11 type compressor oil. Nissan calls it AE10. Its a POE oil with no UV dye. The UV dye is bad since it changes the electrical insulation properties. Also, the supercool website has a tool to determine your car's oil:

Its says ND-11 and after a call to their office I confirmed that this stuff is ND-11:

The Nissan dealers were a little confused so I thought I would pass this along.
