Should we purchase our leased 2016 Leaf S?

OK, I wanted to follow up on our decision - we ended up purchasing the 2016 Leaf as the residual (12K) was about 3K less than what was on the market for a comparable car and just didn't want to give up driving electric. When we purchased, we also bought the extended warranty for $2K which covers it for 5 more years/70K miles (we can cancel the warranty at any time and get the pro-rated amount back). So my question is, has anyone had expensive repairs on their Leafs?

Some have on earlier cars. Did you get the Nissan Gold Preferred warranty? Because that's the only extended warranty that is worth buying. It covers the infotainment and climate control systems. Your battery capacity warranty remains the same.
