How much for the hood, front bumper, and left fender as a package?

    2012 Leaf Charging Problem

Finally found and purchased a used 40,000 mile charger off eBay for $500. Installed and car now charges as always. A learning process. In trying to follow the Service Manual, led me to disassemble a few things which did not need disassembly. All in all it is a doable job for most anyone if one...

    2012 Leaf Charging Problem

Those are what I have too in a a so called FSM I purchased and downloaded off eBay. I borrowed my sons OBD2 code reader. Same one many service shops use and it tells what the codes are. Flagged the OBC as being defective. So.....I am looking for the best deal on one. Most used ones with a 90...

    Coolant Level for Charging

Hmmmmmm!!! I thought there was not supposed to be any air in the coolant system?

    Coolant Level for Charging

Progress. Found source of leak. A quarter inch hole in the so called degas tank. Anyone know what the term degas refers to?

    Coolant Level for Charging

I would not and do not drive it until repaired. For one thing, I cannot charge it up. In the process of repairing it. The coolant is definitely low. It runs onto the ground as fast as one can pour it in the coolant tank. Still begs the question, is this the cause of the On Board Charger...

    Coolant Level for Charging

Matters because the On Board Charger shuts off after plugging in EVSE. Coolant has leaked out the bottom of the car. A 2012. In process of repairing leak.

    Coolant Level for Charging

Have been unable to find an answer to this question. Thought I would post it here for an answer. Will the On Board Charger come on if coolant level is very low or no coolant at all when car is connected to an EVSE?

    2012 Leaf Charging Problem

Based on info from previous poster, possibility exists that the failed 12 v. battery could have contributed to this issue. Does not fix anything but food for thought anyway. Received the code reader for LeafSpy and now sorting it out to learn how to use it. Seems as there is not any good source...

    2012 Leaf Charging Problem

A bit of information that I neglected to include in my initial post is this and I would not think it has anything to with the charging malfunction. However; the charging problem started after the 12 volt battery failed. The car had the original 12 volt battery in it and suddenly failed to a...

    2012 Leaf Charging Problem

The diode fix did not solve this issue. Ordered an OBD 2 reader. Will see if any trouble codes show up. Wish there was an easy way to check the cable from charge port to OBC. The cable snakes into the innards of car and hard to even visually follow it. Slowly narrowing it down to a probable bad...

    2012 Leaf Charging Problem

Yes, I tried using a piece of wire. However, an inspection with a magnifying glass reveals what looks like the pins are surrounded at the top with a non conductive shield. Thus, the only way to get a reading is to slide a probe past the shield to a bare spot on the pin. Not very easy to do. Like...

    2012 Leaf Charging Problem

Yes. I agree as I indicated in an earlier post for an open diode. A new one in the pilot line would not work. However, I am not convinced that I had good contact while probing between the pilot pin and ground. Am I the only one who had great difficulty in probing that charge connector? Never...
