Update;
My LEAF is fixed at Fix Auto Birmingham free of charge inclusive a Herts courtesy car for 3 days
It took so long due parts shortage but all good
What ever you say about the signs...
Shell have fully admit liability and arranged a Nissan approved car body shop to fix it. I can even get a free courtesy car as the Leaf will be at the body shop for about 3 days
So here you go
This happened too even after using the same car wash many times but this time it actually almost lifted the rear up and broken two bolts and the rear brake light cover off :evil:
well 9 mouths later; i can confirm that i have not had any 12 volt battery problems after this simple mod 8-)
even over Christmas the Leaf stood even still for 4 weeks due holiday's without charging with no issues to report
disconnecting the battery; first start with the Negative terminal of the battery since when you touch the car body with a spanner all fine then do the Positive terminal and since the Negative terminal of the battery isn't connected any more to the body of the car no issues when touching with a...
yeah a shame as being a Radio Amateur I even use a switching power supply what is dead quiet (no noise on the bands)
it's just money as the EV's can be quiet too with the right filtering but costing more in electronic parts...
