So far according to Nissan, they decided to start offering the cold pack on configurations placed 5/22 and on, most of which are still not able to reserve yet, let alone order. It will be on the final production units of 2011. Nissan does have a system to change the configuration of a car before...
Helloo Folks,
I thought I would put my 2 cents into this. The only major convenience of a 1 pay lease is not having to make any payments specially when the money factor difference is not that big (0.0018-0.00204). Based on my math, you are probably better off putting 1/2 down of the "one pay"...
We depend on Nissan's system to update with the "rail ship date". It is not unusual for a car to ship and for the date not to show up in our system until later. Keep in mind also that we do not get updates on rail ship dates. We have to check them manually on a daily basis to catch the changes.
We have received a few so far (9 total) which were all supposed to be April cars ( no where close to what we should have by now). We do have another 25 or so with a May ETA but it keeps changing all the time. The only real ETA is when we get a confirmed "rail ship date". That is when the car is...
I can understand waiting to get the color you want when spending this kind of money. The problem, due to how things have been recently, there is no way to tell when these colors will become available. a 4 to 6 weeks wait could get a lot longer. The factory that produces the paint is no longer ;(
Dealers get invoiced on the cars 2-3 days prior to its arrival. The Vin # becomes available a good month before the car arrives. If the VIN is posted in the dealer's inventory, it should arrive within that 3 days period.
It would right up there. We sell an average of 700 new Nissans per year. This year, the leaf should hit an easy 20% of the total volume. Keep in mind that there are dealers that sell More than we do but have less than half of the Leaf orders that we do.

I must say that with 125 orders confirmed and still counting, We are on pace to deliver over 200 leafs this year (6 delivered...
Yep - I wonder when the owner's manual will leak out now that we have the quick reference and warranty guide...
I provided these files..did not leak them ;) I will do the same when I get the pdf for the owner's manual
I'm sorry - but you're really confusing alot of people here and spreading discontent.
I was specifically told during all three of the Ride n Drive events that you don't need to deplete your battery in order to charge. You can charge at 80% 60% 20% - it doesn't matter.
And now you're saying...
But this makes no sense. I thought the whole point was to wake up with a 100% (or 90 whatever) charge.
If I have to wait until it gets down to 20% that will just make me stranded somewhere and not be able to go to work.
It all boils down to properly mapping your commute per day. Remember that...
