    Electrify America Network

For Electrify America that is true; however, California has 21,953 connectors at 5,459 Stations public charging outlets throughout the state while Texas has 3,292 at 1,191 Stations, even Florida has more at 3,354 at 1,262 Stations and new York at 3,581 at 1,427 Stations. No matter how you look...

    Electrify America Network

Well, I just sent a message to both companies to ask, once I know more, then I can figure out which plan provides the best bang for the buck.

    EV Parking Tickets

Honestly, at this point, I think parking in an EV spot with an ICE vehicle or with an EV and not charging should have the same penalties as parking in a handicap space. Same goes for people that decide to do two or more EvGo sessions in a row without moving their vehicle even when people are...

CA owners - are you removing your white/green HOV decals?

I get the red replacement stickers, so I am going to have to. I wonder how many other 2013 Leafs will be out there with red stickers....I love the fact that it never had stickers prior to me buying it last year.

Warning: Battery Replacement Cost Increase (now $8500)

I thought Nissan offered a finance option on the battery, did they do away with that too?

    value of my 2014 Leaf

I bought my 2013 with quick charging about a year and half ago with about 36K mileage for around $6,000, the battery was already degraded to a certain degree and I got a replacement battery last year just before the warranty was up.

How to turn off back up (reverse) beeping sound?

Honestly, they don't pay attention to gas powered vehicles either, so what difference does it really make? The only people that I can see being affected are those pedestrians that have limited to no vision and really you should be watching out for them no matter what vehicle you drive anyway...

How to turn off back up (reverse) beeping sound?

The problem is the forward sound has what to me sounds like metal grinding on metal, which makes me think the brakes are bad even when they aren't. If I could change the sound slightly, then it wouldn't be an issue, but until I can, I will use LeafSpy to shut it off.

Proper EV Etiquette - Charging/Parking - Novice EV Owners

I have found the simplest solution if an ICE vehicle is parked in an EV charging space. If the cord will reach, I park behind them and charge my car. If they come out while I am still charging, I let them know that I will move once my car is done charging (especially at paid charging stations)...

    Extended Warranty opinions ...

I have never seen an extended warranty that covers these items.

    Negotiating lease end buy-out price

That seems like a really high buyout price to me considering you can buy used for that price not as a lease buyout and they should be giving you a really good discount since you have been leasing and they won't have to work to sell the car to someone else. I would shoot for under $10,000.

Now 2 fast chargers down in my area

I agree and I think there should always be L2 stations available near Quick Chargers and I think there should be an abundance of L2 stations at every movie theater, theme park, zoo and other place where people are likely to spend several hours.

$700+ OUCH - Parking brake actuator

M<y understanding is because the WiFi doesn't always work reliably with the Leaf.

$700+ OUCH - Parking brake actuator

I would suggest getting your own LeafSpy setup, the device is very inexpensive and saves a ton of hassles. Every once in a while you get a charger that trips a fault error that prevents charging until it clears, which takes a couple of days on its own, but with leafSpy I can clear the code and...

Now 2 fast chargers down in my area

Seeing things like this makes me very grateful I live in Southern California where chargers are relatively plentiful, a lot of the quick chargers cost money, but there are still some of those that are free. I live a couple of blocks away from free level 2 chargers, so plugging in on level 2...
