    Sacramento area window Tinting??

I had to look on the receipt, it was Ron's, ph. no. 209-333-1181. I was wrong about the tint, though; it was 28% tint in back (dark enough to work well and look good, but light enough to see clearly at night), but 75% UV-block "Solar Guard" on the front door windows. The solar guard is, as I...

    Sacramento area window Tinting??

We did 30% tint (IIRC) on the rear and back doors, but the solar stuff with very little tint on the front windows of our black LEAF. The difference was incredible; the car remains so much cooler. The shop (on Kettleman Ln. in Lodi) claimed the front window film, even though it is nearly clear...

Sacramento Area Leafs Meeting [Thread Retired]

Not ALL day, but it is a brunch, cutting the heart out of the day! I really enjoyed myself attending the Oct. meet up and eagerly look forward to the next one!

Sacramento Area Leafs Meeting [Thread Retired]

So. After LEAFer dropped us back at the Nissan dealer after lunch, a salesman was showing a dealer car (that was parked near the chargers) to a family. We bade LEAFer good bye and as I approached my car and disconnected the EVSE, I listened to the family ask questions of the salesman and, more...

Sacramento Area Leafs Meeting [Thread Retired]

We will almost certainly need a jolt before we hit the road for home. I have been planning to leave Lodi early Saturday morning, go first to Whole Foods and get maybe an hour or so on their EVSE, then head down Iron Point to the Outlets. This plan is subject to revision... we could also charge...

OK! If we are all in for the 13th, we need a time and place. Downtown? Capitol Mall? A dealership? A park? Picnic style? Restaurant? No food? Sit down? Mill around?

Right you are, LEAFer. I didn't know that Tesla uses a different EVSE than us, but an email to a Tesla-owning friend brought the facts - as you did. But there are numerous other places with L2. Yes, the trip! I'm dying to do it. The AMTRAK station at Colfax is the last L2 gasp until the...

Anywhere is fine, as long as we can charge during the event. Folsom is not too far, it's only about 45-50 miles and if we could hit the Outlets' quick charge, that would be great. Jeremy, we were just in your neighborhood - the Whole Foods store @ Folsom Saturday morning. Wow, what a great...

The 6th is out for us, Oct. 13-14 would be better - but it will likely be bad for someone else.

If we come up from Lodi, can we get a charge at the meeting place?

How Many Leaf Owners Charge Solely on 120V?

I charge w/Level 1 at home with timer set for four hours' duration and 80% limit. I don't always charge the car, but make sure I have "enough" for my 30 mile one-way commute. The trip to work is almost always filled with colorful racetrack moments and I usually clear-cut and burn the stumps...
