I recently purchased a 2020 leaf that I think had been power spiked in someway. Instrument cluster dead and multimedia unit dead. I have replaced both from wreck and is working fine now but odometer is now displaying incorrect distance
Is there a tool/app that can change the odometer on a ZE1...
When you say "There were a significant number of bad or weak cells in the 2018 Leafs" this week I looked at 3 different 2018 and all had a cell drop during a hill climb, so far that's 100% of this model with failed cell, are they really that bad??
Did you ever put together a Gen 2 40kw guide??
We just purchased a 2018 Gen 2 65km car, when climbing a local fairly step grade the percentage drops off and we get the "power is limited" message on the screen. Watching the vehicle with leafspy while this is occurring the module separation...
I found this video in Russian(unfortunately I don't understand) watching it they seem to upgrade the ECU from donor car(about 10mins in) and sync it with new car.No translator required

Yes I have ordered the battery translator from evenhanced in New Zealand, I am also in Nz. But am interested if it can be done without the need of translator. I have reset the code p3102 and the car is driving completely fine(no turtle) just at the moment the range meter is all over the place.
I can buy the battery translator for the car

But apparently the 24kw cars have had warranty replacements of 30kw and they just updated the firmware on the car.
I do have consult software to do myself, if I can work out...
I upgraded my 24kwh battery to 30kwh battery. I read that the ECU can be flashed to support the 30kw properly but cant find any information on this.
Can anybody shed some light on the procedure for this
Thanks
