My 11 months lease extension is ending in July. They will not allow me to get more extension. No reason given.

Any one knows knowledgeable dealers in Orange County, CA area who I can approach for lease buyout? I haven't had any success with a few so far. I think the trick is to reach the right person within these dealerships.

I was told same thing by Nisan on phone. There is 10 days grace period for return.

Got in line at Brea Mall Store at around 8 AM (PST) . About 150 people ahead of me already. Reserved 2 at around 11:50 AM. Line was still 200 strong behind me. The reservations were done old style. 3 counters taking orders on their custom tablet or something.

I am reserving at store on 31st. My Leaf 2015 lease is ending in August 2017. By extending that by a year, I think I can get model 3 by August 2018. Timings probably will work out for me.

It is amazing...I have been driving my 2015 Leaf for a year now, and not once I needed to charge it at home! My workplace in Irvine has free L2 charger, and Nissan provides free QC/L2 for first 2 years. So on all counts, a pretty quiet year and did not discover the local community in this forum...

I totally rely on NCTC to charge on my way home from office. Luckily I have an eVgo quick charger on the way and haven't been charged so far.

Can you guys open a sale center in Orange County here? My dealer here did not even apply VPP discount to the lease calculations - says the deal is already better than VPP...

Agree completely. I think it is encouraging news overall. Better battery == better EV & better Range. Costs involved in in-house R&D to improve and produce current leaf battery may be significantly more than buying better from LG Chem. Hopefully a more practical leaf coming out in 2017 that may...

I think the EV market has enough momentum to sustain critical mass. More and more number of players are coming into market, and batteries spectrum is expanding. If Nissan or anybody quits the market or reduces capacity, it is up for grabs by another player. If Nissan reduces Leaf production...
