    Oil For Reduction Gear

I have a 2017 LEAF, and I am considering doing the first gearbox change (only has 40k on it) and read through the whole thread, and been trying to figure out if Lucas products or AMSOil products like the Lucas 80W 90 gearbox oil would work or if ATF would be the better option for the Matic-S...

    rear cupholders in center console

Not sure if anyone is still interested in this topic, but as an alternative to the slide out tray, this is also an option, it is for the 2018+ Leaf but it fits in my 2017, so should fit in others like mine with the flat black cover thing Hopefully this helps someone? I’ll post a picture once I...

    LED headlights upgrade worth?

I popped in a pair of LEDs in place of my Halo bulbs, and I will say the increased difference just with one, much less both actually has done wonders, and yes before anyone says any thing about making sure they are aimed properly, I did re aim my lamps after the install and tested and verified...

In the market for a used Leaf.

With out going throught the entire thread, I am just going to throw out that having properly aimed head lamps, halogin or other wise makes a huge difference, crap design or not, I would at least consider checking the aim of the beams to make sure they are adjusted properly

LeafSpy compatible adapters (known working) Updated 14-03-2022

Thanks for the info, as for the battery, thanks, I've always seen it given as Kw (Kilowatt) or KWh perhaps that's just a euro thing I am used to seeing when in Germany or Ireland visiting family?

LeafSpy compatible adapters (known working) Updated 14-03-2022

I will check my leaf after its sat for a few hours but I believe mine auto shuts off and you are quite welcome, I figured I might as well contribute something to this community at least :) as for the indicators I will update as people give those also or I can test on a side note, do you think...

Adding Automatic lights to my leaf

I would prefer the DRLs but I also like the idea that if I turn my lights on and leave them on they automatically cut off after I leave the car for a short duration, but if its too cumbersome to do I am ok with just DRL function which I really would like

I think I’m good, but want a second look - battery concern

Sorry, I thought the images had it in them, its the standard 30Kw battery (factory original), as for VIN I redacted it, not sure why that would be important but as someone suggested I do so I did.

newbie to this website, EV and to Leaf, a couple of questions

I would strongly suggest replacing the outlet if it is unable to hold the plug in it, that is a safety hazard, and it does NOT cost very much to replace the outlet, I would suggest using a Isolated ground outlet like what is pictured below, extension cords while useable are not a good idea...
